Hi! We're excited about this engagement ring design contest.

It's our first annual design contest, and we're seeking submissions from all over: experienced jewelers, beginning students, hobbyists, everyone. Two winners will be chosen by a panel of judges experienced in the field, and one winner will be chosen by popular vote. Submissions are due on April 16, 2012.

The prizes are awesome: for the juried winners, First place is $1000 and Second place is $500. The popular vote winner will also receive a prize of $1000. Each winning piece will become a part of the TLC collection, and regular folks will be able to buy these unique pieces and share in the joy of artistic creation!

The contest, and promoting the winners, is all part of what we do at Turtle Love Co. We work to support and promote the work of independent artisans and to increase the availability of art jewelry. Supporting the arts makes our world a nicer place to live, and that's just plain good.

So! If you know anything about making jewelry, make a submission! If you know somebody who knows anything about making jewelry, encourage that person to submit an entry or entries. We can't wait to see what you've got.
